We also work to plan concentrated times when, as a community of faith, we can make a practical difference in the lives of those who live around us.  One example of this practice is the organization of the Koinos Campaign for Women in Crisis, an annual clothing and food drive for battered women and their children. We believe that God cares deeply for the suffering and neglected in our world and that we must show that care to others who need to experience it.
